The movie and tv industry would kill for this technology. (These in addition to almost every other industry)

Now with many projects using HD video, and animation studios making hundreds of millions from a single film, a huge step in processing power would save them a bundle and bring many more projects to the table.

Rendering video data requires an enormous amount of processing power. Sometimes days or weeks are spent rendering portions of films and animations. Multiple computers and processing units are required to accomplish even that.

I know the list could go on infinitely, but working a bit with this industry, I can see a massive demand for this technology from Pixar, Disney, and almost any studio who would like to shave lengthy period off their production time.

Hard to be patient when the improvements this would bring globally are so desperately needed and close to becoming a reality. The medical community would certainly benefit and perhaps add desperately needed efficiency to our medical programs and research.

Just talking potential while awaiting the good word on the milestones and completion.
