I believe Steve W used the numbers, if you own 15000 PTK use 5000 of them to flip and make a quick buck. Nothing wrong with that and I'm sure it happens a lot, but........to make money on that in any consistant way it can only work if flippers are a small % of the share holders.
Envision a scenario where all the shareholders flipped a third of their shares on every uptick. Not a pretty picture!
Ever wonder why when some Companies issue a great NR the SP actually declines? It's the result of too many flippers in the mix. Some might call it "penny wise and dollar foolish" because in effect one is using a minor portion of their shares to drive down the value of the greater portion. And this beat down can have a permanent and sometimes fatal effect in that it makes financing more difficult and dilution extreme.
