You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
It's not so much depending on their analysis. It's more of the fact that if/when these houses start to buy, it's going to drive up the share price pretty significantly as they will be buying millions of shares. That will just snowball as other houses take note.
