Dear Dusty,

The history here is littered with many Kings and Queens that go back to the dark ages. Ethelred the Ready, Alfred the Great, Canute the Dane who tried to stop the tide coming in. Somehow we have not managed to celebrate a holiday for any of the the monarchs who have ruled in the last 1500 or so years. If we did, we'd have dozens of holidays. Isn't that sad?
