Hmmm, good eye. Could be just a coincidence or a way of getting an in.

"UTC is also a large military contractor, producing missile systems and military helicopters, most notably the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter"

They are based in Conneticut which has me believe it's a coincidence as most large companies donate to their local universities but the military connection could be interesting.
