MrsDreamingBig, this is pretty standard any way it's done. In this case it was them approaching me but for any articles the journalist would almost always let you read the article to make sure everything is correct. It's a win win, so I don't agree with your comment about companies approaching them and them declining to allow you to read it over (in most cases). This seems to be the situation where POET approached the company though and did a presentation first.

What would be the harm in letting the company read over the article before publishing?
