Ummm, not sure what you're asking for certain.

Only very rarely can someone (usually institutions, not retail investors) can do after market (+4pm EST) trading for a small, set period amount of time.

Putting in a bid before or after close would require there to be a seller before close at your price for you to get the shares. You won't get any after close or before the market opens. If you have a bid at 1.86 left in there and it opens at 1.84, then you will have filled yes.

Some of these questions appear to be fairly basic and can probably be more easily understood by taking a few hours and getting caught up on investing. This is a great free site:
