oldgreg, I have no idea whether or not POET has ever talked to Intel, but my guess would be they have not.

The way I interpreted Dr. Taylor's response to the question about Intel was simply, "we have come this far by ourselves and we don't need a giant company to succeed." It was another way of saying what PC has been saying about not being for sale. I think it's the company stance right now. Is it how they really feel? Don't know, but sure sounds like posturing in case suitors come calling.
