I disagree. Sure they could have set a later date, but their job is not to manage shareholder expectations. Their job is to provide guidance as per the same rules that govern all publicly traded companies.

It's up to shareholders themselves to manage their own expectations.

What I want is for the company to provide information that is as accurate as possible, irrespective of the bloated expectations of the $70 club. But we can differ on this if you like.

Furthermore, what makes anybody think we are in total control. Last I heard we have potential partners waiting for the 100nm milestone. Any announcement of their involvement depends on the partners timeline as much as it depends on ours. Potential partners have their own shareholders whose expectations need to be "managed"

Did we not hear as recently as a month or so ago that POET expects no technical barriers to achieving the 100nm? This is good news and the information is more current than the corporate presentation which CC says is due for an update.

I'll say it again. The value the market assigns POET today, bears no resemblance to what POET will be when we start signing deals. This is all just noise, albeit a sickening screeching noise.
