Each investor needs to make their own assessment based on their own criteria. For me I really don't pay too much attention to IR folks. In the companies I have worked for (some large some small) the IR employees and the IR firms are the not necessarily the best informed. In many cases they are intentionally NOT informed by senior management.
For PTK you can:
1) believe that the invention is for real and invest and wait until you see it materialize and if it does get a huge reward for your insight and patience
2) don't believe - so why invest???
3) enjoy the volatility and take the risk of trading in and out on the flippers
We each have to make our own decisons based on our own criteria and investment and or trading criteria. I unfortunately broke 2 of my trading rules on PTK (too big a portion of my portfolio and didn't take profits when my criteria said to do so). Sometimes you need to break your rules on rule breaker stocks like PTK and hopefully youare right in the long term
