I repeat my assertion made in a SURE WE ARE SURE that from the Q1 MD&A we learn that MS 8 is doable, the NR confirms this.
Scaling down sure is a detailed and difficult process, as Mrs Shepherd has said here, yes slower than anticpated, but I feel the confidence is here to achieve it. It remains do-able. POET reduced from 800nm to 200nm after all.
However, henceforth, I believe we should start looking at MS 8 as nothing more than a target point on a graph of the scaling down process. Scaling down is likely to be an ongoing R&D activity even after MS (100nm) is achieved, this is what is meant by less than 100nm.
The fact is the Tech team know how to do this and are honing down the process of scaling down. 100nm is just a point on a path.
