I feel that it's obvious that what ever has happened to cancel their appearance at the Vancouver Conference was more important. Also the fact that it required BOD to attend UCONN can only mean that it involves what is at UCONN. We all know that Uconn is where the technology of Poet is physically present. Since it involves Poet and the presence of the BOD it must involve a partner (company of interest looking for verification) and a deal of some sort. Nothing else makes sense to me. JMHO
