Not sure what to make of your post dash. I somewhat agree with your statement about the kind of information that will spark the imagination of the average investor. But I never said anything about what kind of information POET would want to present, so I don't understand how your reply is related to my post.

Did you watch the video rob posted? It was pretty light on the technical stuff, which was only there to explain the groundbreaking discovery of graphene's capacitive properties. Next followed the applications, which is accessible to anyone. I don't know how you can sanely argue that such a presentation wouldn't work for POET. Maybe it would run a little long???

The last part of your reply shows you didn't understand my point. I know POET can finish the job, but I was clearly talking about scenarios that would be outside the control of the company. We *are* vulnerable to a lowball takeover if the big boys become interested enough, and if you think we aren't you need to snap out of that dream. We have no SRP, we have retail investors who would secure a profit at a lower price than you would like, and the company does NOT hold enough shares to defend a hostile takeover.

I know the arguments in your favour, I'm likely one of the ones who originally wrote them on this forum (trade secrets, etc.). But I try to integrate new information into my guesswork and adjust my views accordingly. So I'll repeat: I have reason to believe (having spoken to a few experienced people) who believe that POET is still trying to fly under the radar to an extent. They must also keep investors informed about their activities, so they are in a bit of a bind when it comes to keeping under the radar. So the time is not ripe for a full media campaign. But if they build it, the time will come.
