That is one of the many applications of the work Dr. Taylor's team is doing for over two decades now. There are lots of steps to achieve it and they are getting there one step at a time. The recent actions made by management suggests, but in no way guarantees, they achieved or close to achieving all the steps. The good thing about the research is, it can produce and already produced other processes and/or products fit for commercial use even before getting to the end goal. IMO, that's why all these maneuvers are taking place starting early this year. The same reason why PC is confident enough to say NRE is expected late this year and next year.

My desktop could use a 42GHZ CPU and I will buy it for sure. So I'm waiting as an investor and consumer at the same time. I will not be disappointed if they come up with a 10GHZ one which uses 80% less power.
