I provided a good answer at the time.

OTCBB allows for many more funds to invest in POET vs. its current location. No doubt NASDAQ is best but it comes with much more cost as well.

OTCBB requires a higher baseline of financial reporting and filing that gives larger institutions the confidence in the numbers. Many of the larger institutions have minimum requirement of OTCBB to invest (ie. OTCBB or higher ).

If the jump to OTCBB is not expensive, it could be an interim step to get more money flow opportunities into POET, with NASDAQ being the final destination.

Would I enjoy NASDAQ 100%, but a move to OTCBB should be seen as only a positive. I do not know what the exact plan is in the short term (OTCBB vs. NASDAQ)...but an exchange move is a good thing full stop.
