Message: Just my theory on NDA: Why the SP does not fly North

I am 100% sure that most scientists in the field of semiconductors know about POET and its potential.

So let us assume that POET addressed all major semiconductor giants showing its capabilities and potentials:

Don’t you think one or the other would take the chance to buy in? Even a small probability to control the future of the semiconductor technology would be tempting to open a flood of cash of their war chests. To gain their significant share of PTK would be no problem at all.

But - this does not happen. Why? Do you think they are all waiting for sub 100nm proofs, the M8?

No! I am sure POET was clever enough to put the right paragraphs in all their NDA – not to use the given info to “swoop” in. Possibly they even took measurements in these agreements to prevent unfriendly attempts by third parties. As it is in the vital interest of all of them that this technology will not be controlled by one single competing company

And this, my friends, is excellent for the future of POET – and us. I am sure there will be no buy-out, the SP will develop by MS, earnings from agreements, licensing fees and possibly from cross-shareholding. Slowly, steadily. Bottom left to te top right...

So – I am quite happy that the SP does not move – at the moment. Let us be patient.
