Today we are looking forward to the next semiconductor revolution, are looking down at nowadays stuff, and are making jokes about "sillygone".

However, we should never forget how ingenoius the inventions of silicon semiconductors and integrated circuits were 60 years ago and how they have revolutionized the world we are living in!

We are standing on the shoulders of giants. Kudos to Jack Kilby, Robert Noyce, and combatants!
