We are pre-revenue. When we get partners with names people recognize, we will have a new company, with a new SP range.
We won't be concerned about technical milestones, or whether it even works at all. We will be waiting for the next big name to get on board.
Also, don't be surprised if the first name we hear is one we barely recognize. POET is going to ink a deal with the first company who is willing to take a risk to be an early adopter, and who is desperate or stands to gain a serious advantage over their competition. This won't necessarily be a bloated, dinosaur like Intel, et al. Our partners will need POET more than those (like Intel) who still have years to peddle their crap or like HP, who are content to live in a different reality than the rest of us.
And concerning where we stand today, I have a feeling when each of us are telling this story to our grandchildren, we are going to leave out the parts where we fretted daily about penny movements and extended periods without an NR. Those will be too embarassing to share.
