There are many here who claim to be longs, and who have shared their opinions, but on the rare occasion I visit this board anymore, it seems like the topics always degenerate into a day trading mentality.

That is, "why isn't there news today?" "Why is the price where it is?" "Are we going to be green?"

It's amusing because historically, the SP has rarely been effected by a milestone achievement...and when it has, it hasn't been sustained. If I remember correctly, the biggest jump came shortly after the TDK release.

What will move the share price is money committed to POET. Nothing more. Once someone believes in the technology enough to put their money where their mouth is, we go north. We've understood from the first indications of the 100nm "side project" that this particular milestone was potentially partner driven. With that comes entirely different circumstances surrounding a news release. MS8 might have been fininshed a while ago, but when you throw another company in the mix, along with negotiation perhaps, everything changes.

The daily desperation I'm reading makes me wonder whether some people here are way overweight and have taken on far too much risk. To you I say, lighten the load so you can sleep at night. In the meantime, "a watched pot never boils" and it's too bloody nice outside to be stuck in front of a computer worrying about 4-6 cents everyday.
