That news release from HP reads more like it's their own proprietary technology, rather than a potential partnership with POET, even though the power, performance and cost numbers are startlingly similar to ours.

They cite their own advancements and departments, while never referring to a "potential" or "un-named" partner. They even use the word "eco-system".

While I'd love to connect the dots here, it seems more like this is a direct threat rather than any kind of future alliance.
