This though just occured to me: Ajit Manocha's salary may seem rather high – at least to POET's standards, not to his own.

Anyway, this increases POET's burn rate considerably. You can interpret this negatively, but also positively. Pick the one you like! Later we'll see which one was correct.

• Negative interpretation: An increased burn rate will make a capital increase unavoidable. :-(
• Positive interpretation: The company is optimistic to close a deal really soon now, generate money and overcompensate the increased financial needs. :-)
