I'm amazed that the mere possibility of a reverse split (maxed at 5:1) has contributed to a drastic drop in the stock price....even though nothing has been decided yet and even if it happens, it still possesses numerous benefits. (Better listing, stability, open door to new investors, cleanse shorts, etc.)
On the other hand, the possibility that this stock will replace silicon, and become the leading technological breakthrough of the decade is also extremely high and becomes closer to realty with every passing day. It also adds FAR more value to the stock then that which may be lost if a (potential) RS were to cause a dip. Though for some reason, this doesn't consistantly move the price up.
So it might be safe to assume a lot of weak hands still in the mix. Maybe the goals of the reverse split, though damaging in the short run, will rid us of these weak hands (certainly deplete them), and then we can move past this yo-yo act we've been enduring for so long.
If we all think the end game is going to be POET, then we need to ensure the right plays are made, even at the risk of suffering short term losses to get us there. We get to vote as we see fit on this AGM items, so do so. A few more months of this madness and hopefully we'll reach our goal.
Unless we are told something doesn't work (highly unlikely at this point), there is no reason we shouldn't be higher than our historical high in the near future.
