Message: Another desperate company going the consolidation route

And I appreciate your postion Spark. There's obviously a caseload of examples and it's rather commonly accepted that a consolidation move is typically one of 'last resort' for many companies. That's clearly not the situation here, and I'm pressuming you agree with that . . .

Again, I think sometimes your posts have been devisive. I'm not sure that a candidate Poet investor reading some of your posts wouldn't come to the same conclusion as myself. And I just don't possibly see how that serves your position as a long. I just really don't understand why you would then respond in the manner that you did, when someone was just trying to set the record straight, based on facts. On that basis I felt your reply(s) to FC was highly disrespectful.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion Spark - I entirely respect that. But when supporting your position, you choose to make the point that we are down 45% from our 52-week highs, vs up 300% from out 52-week lows. That, my friend speaks volumes - it's seemingly apparent that you are 'a glass half empty' guy, although you claim not be be?! So the balance of your argument, with me at least, as a result further loses credibility, let alone the framing of your headline and insinuation that consolidation by Poet is a desperation move. Perhaps it's more manner than substance.

I also believe this can arise in part from getting a little too close to the flame, through following this forum day-to-day . . . on that basis it's easy to understand why many people on here take a 'what have you done for me lately' attitude. It's in many ways a reflection of the world we live in. But that is so highly disconnected with what's actually going on to build this business day-to-day by the company. It is sheer ignorance to not recognize what this company has achieved to date, with absolutely no revenue, let alone earnings. To date they have shown to be on the other end of the Vulture spectrum and not just another pump'n'dump.

I would just ask that we consider, when posting as a long, to think about the first time reader of this forum and how they will likely receive the message. These may all be prospective investors that can help drive the share price to where all the longs would like it to be. It really is that simple. Otherwise I'm not sure I understand the point of a lot of this disrespectful bickering. If you have an issue take it offline.

Just know, that I too have not agreed with every move the company has made with respect to NR's etc. But that's from my vantage point, which is the same as pretty much everyone else here on this forum. I suspect very few of us, if any, understands the day-to-day challenges or moves this company is undertaking. I mean, how many people on here knew about the coming Ajit hire or the consolidation option as example? . . . exactly . . . Management has a product development and strategic plan that they have carved out. While we should be questioning, we should be respectful of them and one another along the way, until they give us reason not to be - let's be constructive in our criticisms rather than just lashing out, understanding that many prospective investors check in on this board. Let's not pretend we know what's best when we are actually all merely just speculating - educated often times for sure, but let's keep it at that. My understanding is that this was the intention of setting up this forum in the first place - DD. And sometimes, based on the approach and manner some posters take, I think it may actually be better if there wasn't a forum like this, and that the SP might be better served if it didn't exist.

For the record, I AM very much in favour of balanced reporting and a balanced pov's. I am a fairly heavily invested Poet long. I believe in this company and the future that this technology potentially holds. Know that I am also against consolidation as an easy way to help reach the promised land, but believe in supporting the company based on how they have navigated since PC has taken the reigns. Yes I am concerned about further dilution that may come, but am also understanding of the increased clout it offers the BoD in the event of a hostile takeout bid, with which many on here might not be happy. To that end I do not have a problem with them having a Reverse Split arrow option in their quiver.

My apologies Spark . . . didn't mean to go like this - my message is obviously more broadly intended. Peace. Am off to enjoy the weekend - may you all do the same.
