Fairchij, I think we solved this one yesterday.

Perhaps the appt of mr fab has been delayed to ensure global foundries could acquire IBM fabs. Perhaps they thought the sale was far enough down the make the announcement.

Aves said, "was brought on". Aves' post does not make sense unless you read for context. To clear up any confusion, Aves followed up with this, "no, that is HAD previously been delayed. Perhaps he has been around for a while, but they didn't/couldn't announce it due to pending negotiations with IBM and GF"

In the spirit of fairness, Aves was clearly not casting any doubt on Mr. Manocha's appointment. Let's not waste energy sniping at each other, we'll all soon have enough issues with Revenue Canada :)
