Who honestly believes that anything posted about POET on this or any public forum will dictate the outcome of the technology?

Closerlook, I think perhaps you misunderstood the post by Tradergader. He clearly states his opinion that the posts here on Agoracom will NOT impact the outcome of the technology which is absolutely true. If POET is real or not, it will succeed or fail based on management and the needs of this technology market.

It is true that the success or failure of many investors here can certainly be influenced by the posts here which is why it is critical that this forum allow for a balanced message.

If all here are invested in POET to whatever degree it is because we have some level of faith that this technology may well be disruptive or at least marketable.

Aves, Snoop and myself have at times written to provide a caution against the all out rose coloured glasses messages that quite frequently appear and are for the most part, someones opinion only and not based on any known facts.

In fact, I cannot remember ever seeing a post where existing POET management or the potential of this technology was questioned in an unreasonable fashion.

There have of course been posts that questioned timelines and the company's failure to meet them. Not an unreasonable observation in my opinion.

FJ will of course be missed and yes he did provide valuable due dilligence along the way.

At the same time FJ showed zero tolerance to anyone who would post anything that in any way would question management actions or the highly speculative claims of the $70 club which again, in my opinion, discouraged those who would provide such comments of caution or disagreement.

We do not all have to pump this stock to have value on this Board.
