Message: Things from SH

It was painful for me to read all the garbage of the last days on SH so I thought you might like to have the good part (some was already shared here):

From Fiveniner:

On the tour, Dr. Taylor said two interesting things:
1) that he saw no problem getting down to 40 nm. After that, they will need different technology than they have at the lab.

2) that the POET speed at 100 nm is ~10 nm with silicon.

Do not expect this info in any official documents and so of course it is just rumour at this stage. When Dan Desimone was asked about this last part he said, "Is that really what Goeff said? I cannot comment."

Yeah, all the proposals were passed. PC barely even lifted his head to see the room when asking for yea's and nay's so I am guessing that the results were already known through proxy voting in advance.

There was some discussion regarding the reverse split. The have until the next AGM to follow through on this otherwise they will need to ask for the power again.

Of all the reasons that were published in the shareholder document, PC focused on allowing US institutions to buy POET. Apparently, they have been talking to them about the possibility but the institutions just cannot in our current situation.

The target price that they are trying to get up to is $5 (not $2).

There was talk of which tier of the NASDAQ they are hoping for and PC started to say Global but then referred to the lawyer and then stated something like "the one that offers the most to the shareholders"

As SI was right behind me, I overheard him say to Mrs. Sheppard something like "AM was the key component that POET was missing"

That was encouraging.

Dan also made the comment that shrinking size is little problem because most of the trail-cutting has already been done with silicon. They are able to use many of these techniques with GaAs.
