Agreed. It would be too easy just to buy a stock, sit back, relax and watch it grow.

You have to take risks in order to get rewarded at the end. I am 45% down in my investment in POET, so you can imagine my feelings. And POET is 30% of my portfolio at this point.

Yet I still beleive I have to be strong, disciplined and color blind, and disregard the red color that my portfolio is painted in at this moment. The only thing I wish is for the color change to green within next 2-3 years :) And from the way how things look like it will happen.
