Yes, the opportunites and potential for POET technology are enormous. Try to imagine some of the enhancements on old technology and the present. Not long ago, everyone thought the need for a camera on a cell phone was ridiculous. Now they're here. Maybe the next step will be IR sensing on cell phones, making it possible to see in the dark. This would all be due to POET's electrical efficiency and miserly energy requirements.
