Later I watched a neighbour make a fortune selling them, but curiously the stand out example for me of their utility and potential was whilst pulling into a country station on a flood diverted train, rather dejected I looked up to see 5 people sitting waiting for their train, each was operating their smart phone/ mobile (handy for Rainer) in some way. The concept of hat impact this technologhy has hadon the world in sleepy Welsh villages and its enormaous potetiail to become our personal everything struck home.
