My delusion of grandeur has CISCO being interested in POET, assuming they even know about it. CISCO needs to be reborn, badly. A deal with POET and a rededication of effort and direction would qualify as a rebirth.

This board can apparently stay civil only so long, then civil war breaks out. ET has proclaimed herself a marketer, right? Marketers are high priced salesmen. Salesmen know how to sell (convince), and good ones are great. Hope that POET eventually needs one, and I'm sure ET will throw her hat in the ring, if she hasn't already. Salespeople generally do not know how to actually figure whether or not a particular technology will work and/or ultimately be successful.

There are those on this board that do have at least a shot at understanding and evaluating the tech, most of the rest of us can figure the potential if they are correct regarding what it can do, and that it can be mass produced at a favorable price. Those are the key individuals for me; I have a much better handle on the rest, and feel comfortable there.
