KROM: Any one know how to contact the person who deleted the POET page? I tried but I dont have a Wiki account.

KROM, the problem with the deleted Wikipedia article about POET Technologies is – at least according to the person who deleted the article – that the article makes no "credible claim of significance or importance" (among other requirements specific to each criterion). This is further explained here.

I wouldn't call for an uproar now, but instead wait until the requirements are fulfilled. I am pretty sure that POET Technologies will be able to make a very "credible claim of significance or importance" sooner or later – sooner preferred, of course.
