Avago seems to have a big customer in Apple.
The have acquired data storage company LSI Corporation, and seem to be poising for some bigger orders and moves from Apple going forward.

Makes you wonder if behind the scenes (with POET) that deals are in place, pending other acquisitions and poistioning that will had synergy to those partnering and licensing POET for maximum profitability and reduced cost and risk.

As this is a revolutionary move, the smart guys may be planning on doing a lot more than simply getting in bed with POET. They may be moving plenty of other chess pieces to best benefit their position. Suppliers and other resources needed to make POET a reality. All speculation of course, but certainly makes reading between the lines of all the activity between Apple and other companies fun to see which might be related.
