I, and many more investors here, have placed a lot of shares on the selling block at much higher prices, numbering in the many millions of shares now in the past few days. Question? Can the brokers lend those shares now that they have been put to tender? Don't they have a legal obligation to have those shares ready to sell regardless of asking price. If so and those shares are borrowed by shorts than don't they have just 3 days to get these shares back and ready for immediate sale? Just wondering if it works that way. I know it may be a little more complicated than that but any upward volume in sales would surely put a big demand on shorters to cover.
