Yes 40nm Aves.

But what if PET chip is more expensive to make than Intel's

14nm Broadwell Si chip.

In that case speed and power are not too far a part so price would make diference.

Maybe PET chip wouldn't heat at all. That would make great advantage.

I hope that 40 nm will do.

3 articles came out at same time each with different pieces of puzzle.

I find it very informative and while it seemed confusing at first now i know:

1. First product in NEAR TERM - optical interface

2. There will be PET and other prototype chips available for display and testing by the end of 2014

3. At 40nm (which seems to be at reach) PET will be better than Intel's Broadwell 14nm. Power savings are comparable to 10nm in Si which is not coming to market for at least a year.

Poet sounds very confident!

Optical interface revenue is not going to be huge but as first revenue it would make huge diference to SH.
