I concur wholeheartedly with SmoothSailing's comments and will add this.....

The science of Poet, at least as far as I can determine, is solid and does what it says it does. It's now in the process of proving it's mettle in a mass producible capacity. There, the appropriate checks and balances will determine its merits. I love the fact that Poet is not into chest thumping about its abilities/potential.....its waiting until the scientific and technological facts speak for themselves.

Converse to this system of testing and proving scientific hypotheses, the Ontarion gov't fell into the trap of the fearmongering pseudo-science of global warming and climate change. It then also fell into the trap of the glorified but non-existent fiscal and technological efficiencies of solar and wind power. It then sold the farm to glib and smooth talking companies who extolled the virtues of all of the above by agreeing to pay them exorbitant rates for their so-called green power.....for forever!

As a result of this highly politicized, moral do-gooder, blind-leap-of-faith unscientific debacle, Ontario rate-payers are 'guaranteed' to pay through the nose for decades for power that is being unnecessarily produced.

Climate change is a naturaly occurring phenomenon but some fools have the extreme hubris to believe that humankind is its cause. It's like reading another bad Seeking Alpha article.
