QCOM is an excellent analogy for POET. Another interesting parallel is the role of the SBIR funding in the early years for both companies.

Notice the skepticism about their earlier business model. Also note their trajectory after signing their first lucrative deal. I honestly think we are close to participating in a similar development with the potential to dwarf QCOM's accomplishment. I base this on the relative breadth of POET's range of application.
