Heinz,,, you got it right. Cheap paper. the 10M 75 cent warrants are hitting the market now. the overhang is what the shorts were banking on. they knew this paper would eventually be exercised and some of it to hit the market.

It could be the warrant holders are the ones shorting the stock as well, knowing very well they could cover at anytime. This maximizes their profits. Unfortunately, POET management needed all these financings to bring the company back from the brink of bankruptcy and now shareholders are feeling the effects of the " cheap paper" hitting the market.

If you still believe in the technology and management's ability to get the POET technology to market, then this "may be" a good time to do some cost averaging, since I do not see the SP going below the warrant strike price.
