As FJ said, some big companies are contemplating huge $10billion investments looking for the next hurtle to overcome to get below 14/16nm FinFET.
I am just insisting on the fact that it s still a path full of risks for them (few) who can afford such R&D costs. They are already facing big challenges at 14/16nm.
On the other hand, POET has a technology that is just about to become commercially available and can already reduce the cost of their current chip sets to a fraction.
