FJ, the stock went up as high as 25% intraday on the announcement of Ajit Manocha joining by the second day. Thats pretty good. There was a very positive reaction to it initially and I thought we were well on our way to $3.

If Benadiba had to sell shares to pay for the exercise of options, that wouldn't show up in the filings because he was no longer considered an insider. That sudden downward pressure on good news could have easily trigger other scared investors to sell as well, and quite possibly gave the shorts an opportunity to attack. Add to that the possibility that some knew about the RS beforehand, and the RS announced in the same week, and you can see why it didn't last.
