It's great to hear from someone who was at the Union League presentation and ended up investing. I got into POET after a conversation with my brother. The original premise was to think of something the world needs and then search for a company that was working to provide it. I had nothing particular in mind, but after a lot of googling, I found the POET site. I made a small investment and then found agoracom. It was all very serendipitous. I am soooo glad these things happened. The story of POET is "almost too good to be true". However, after a certain amount of DD it is clear that it IS true. It's like all those financial newsletter teasers... "wouldn't you have liked to get into Intel, Apple, Google, etc. at the very beginning"?
