Oh, it's not at all that unlikely! As the description of the IP Check tool states, Agoracom traces the last IP address someone uses to log in. That means the following scenario is possible: There are a Canadian investor and an US investor. Both have their Agoracom accounts for a long time already, usually log in from home or work in their respective countries and therefore always have different IP addresses.

However, now they are staying in the same hotel – let's say in the Nathan Hale Inn in Storrs, CT – both are using the hotel's WLAN, both are logging into their respective Agoracom accounts – et voilá, Agoracom sees them both coming from the same IP address, i.e. the hotel's router's IP address, and flags them by the IP Check tool.

I'd say this is much more likely than a cosmic accident.
