Disrupting the status quo

I just read an interesting article in the Montreal Gazette about start up companies. Today's article about disruptions is the 3rd of 6 parts of Startup City. An interesting quote "it's not always wise to disrupt because disruption leads to competition. Get a monopoly on a really small thing that seems pathetic to others and then grow the monopoly."
