Sula,
As always, I appreciate your thoughtful, civil and reasoned response, you are a great gentleman!
You misinterpreted my post - if POET is successful, Dr. Taylor surely deserves consideration for a Nobel Prize and many other honors and accolades (and will surely collect several!). And I doubt the money will mean much to him at that point. My purpose is really just to point out how quickly moods can change on these boards. A Nobel Prize (or even consideration) is currently premature to the point of sounding very naive.
If Doc T's baby can do half the stuff that the techies on here believe it can, then by all means, the honors, and big ones, will flow.
I often look at the mood on this board as an indicator of future share price movement. This has been a giddy weekend, however, not nearly as many posters have participated as in times past, which gives me some indication that the rally can perservere. I hate to see relatively novice investors get caught up in the giddiness, though; it works out well for them once in a while, of course, but not in the majority of cases.
Even though I have a lot of years of experience (unfortunately) in investing, I'll still get burned worse than I should if we flop (I love to play these flyers), but at least I'll have known what I got into, whereas others will get blindsided if the worst happens, and that's never good, because those folks will generally have far too high a percentage of their net worth tied up in POET.
