Bottom line, the dual listing is very important for Canadian residents. Additionally, if the dual listing is not hard to keep, why would they not want to take advantage of the added exposure that Poet would have if/when they uplist to the main TSX through being added to the various Canadian sector ETFs/indices
The history of this company has been Canadian. Dr. Taylor is born and bred Canadian. Sheldon is Canadian. Dr. Adam C is Canadian. To not have a listing on the TSX going forward would be a slap in the face to the shareholders who have supported this company for a long time and unneccesarily complicate tax/currency issues for Canadian shareholders.
