Whilst we wait for some action ......

As per Peter Copetti's comments as to when the monetization will commence for POET and it's shareholders, we can reflect on his statement stipulating "late 2014 and certainly early 2015".

Then in conjuction with that bold statement, we can reflect on the section below that is taken directly from the companies POET Technologies Inc. Overview ....

"The Company seeks to monetize its technology assets through a combination of (i) license revenues for specific vertical markets, with grants of exclusive rights for agreed upon timeframes; (ii) foundry non-recurring engineering (“NRE”) revenues for POET technology transfer and support to foundries adding POET capability to their product and services offerings; (iii) foundry design kit royalty revenues from sales by foundries of libraries and designs kits incorporating POET to device designers developing new chip offerings; and (iv) royalties from sales by integrated circuit manufacturers and OEMs of POET chips sold individually or incorporated into an electronic device. In support of its marketing efforts, the Company is developing working prototypes of certain devices – ring oscillators and high-speed vertical cavity lasers – in order to display the capabilities of POET."

So many options for monetization. Something significant should be close at hand.

This waiting room that we all find ourselves in should get quite jubilant soon.
