You may be right Scary but things have changed immesely since the "year of recognition" term was coined last year. The advice and expertise Poet is currently being provided with are second to none. With AM joining the team, the assistance of Synopsys and input presumably of Global Founderies they are leaps ahead of working alone in a Connecticut lab. I believe that the veil of secrecy now created was done so on the advice of these newer players and was definitley not a thought going into 2014.

I must agree that I am anxious to get an update but I disagree that they have failed to meet their targets. From a technology perspective they have met their targets (within a reasonable time frame) and infact, took many by surpise with the expectation of meeting the 40nm level this year. Most of which was completed on equipment that is not considered "state of the art".

IMO, the level of communication with investors has decreased and this breeds uncertainty but it is part of the evolution of Poet growing into a technology company that will be taken very seriouly in 2015. I do agree that it can be frustrating but I don't see this changing. In fact, with a new CEO and developing management team they could be even more tight lipped. I would also expect that the inevitable announcements of partnership(s) and NRE revenues will not come with all the details that investors would like. These announcements could come with names but not all of the figures and fine print.

As you said; "Just have to sit and wait".
