Ya, that's harsh.
Shorts serve a function in the market by keeping companies honest. Yes, they sometimes punish honest companies (and their investors) too, but their real value is preventing big talkers from becoming big market caps.
Shorts know what they are doing, as do longs, and are completely legal (as long as they are NOT naked shorts, another topic for sure).
POET will have its' day, and the greedy shorts who are still in will pay the price. I look forward to that day, not so much because the shorts will get creamed, but because I will become wealthy.
