It's simple silicon is what these company's know. They have made their entire existence off of it, and have recently invested massive fortunes in prolonging it. It's the exact same reason oil company's slam the idea of the better more efficant electric/hybrid car. There is a barrier to market that Poet has to break though, and when they do you will see poet everywhere in the hands of every company in everything you use. Before SI dies the big company's wanna squeeze every last bit out of it before moving to its successor. imo
