I feel strongly that shorts are not a problem with this stock at all at this time, perhaps in the future, but not now, the short position is very small. On the other hand, the sale of shares to finance warrant exercise does affect share price in the "short" run. It's not the dilution, as the dilution is already a known, it's merely more shares being offered for sale than would otherwise be the case.
For those who think we will get a benefit of a "short squeeze," that's not gonna happen in any material way at all, given the current number of short interest. A short squeeze rarely happens in any event, shorts are far less emotional than longs, so they don't all cover at the mere mention of good news, they wait.
