Not sure if anyone has mentioned it as yet......
From a corporate standpoint and a marketing standpoint.....this is also the first and early (of many) shots across the bow of those that will not (or have not) heed the message.
Don't assume or make the critical error in judgement that still even now, the competition knows not about us nor knows not to care. Those doubters on the negative side of the ledger, will now be in scramble mode and no doubt in process of assemblage of a strategic team of executives to analyse, assess and develop a response or solution to the situation.
Unfortunately, if you have turned your nose up behind the scenes, you now have little (or no) time to wipe the egg off in front of them.
The shorts may be sweating, but the competition will be dripping wet.
